Estudiar en Canadá

Canada is an interesting and ambitious educational destination in recent times. According to QS Top Universities , 4 of the 100 best universities in the world are located in Canada. It also has a culture rich in diversity and its inhabitants have a very open and tolerant mentality where there is no racial, social or gender discrimination, considering that 8 out of 10 Canadians support immigration.

It is an excellent place to do adventure sports after your classes if snow is your fascination, in addition to having beautiful landscapes that will make you enjoy your stay and take advantage of it not only in your studies, but also in getting to know its tourist attractions, among which we have one of the best known, Niagara Falls.

In Canada, the way to communicate is not only through English, which, if you are visiting for a long time, you can perfect, but also through French, which you will have the option to learn and add another language to your cultural baggage.

What to study in Canada?

    Language courses
Without a doubt, in Canada you can study the English language at all levels. If you are a beginner, don't worry, the native teachers will make you explore English in all its areas (reading, comprehension, writing, and speaking). The duration is between 15 and 30 hours per week. You choose.
If you are planning to spend a short time in Canada, you could also opt for intensive English courses that last from 2 weeks to 3 months. However, if what you need is to take an English course for recognition or certification, there are also institutions that prepare you to apply for the IELTS or Cambridge exams.
        Professional certificates or career programs

These are diplomas awarded by certified colleges and last approximately one year and are divided into 6 months of theory and 6 months of practice. During the months of theory development you will have 20 hours a week to work, then you will graduate and begin the remaining 6 months of practice where you will be able to work in the area you have studied. Once you are in this period you will be able to work full time.

          University studies

University studies in Canada vary depending on the discipline you choose.
The studies corresponding to the first cycle or undergraduate degree culminate with the obtaining of a Bachelor's Degree, after 3 or 5 years of study.
In the second university cycle called “Graduate Studies”, master's degrees are awarded, which require one or two years of study, in addition to a degree thesis.

You can also access certificates for 01 year of studies “Honorous Degree”, which is a second cycle degree that refers to a more advanced level and is an essential requirement to complete a postgraduate degree.
